PhyMed Healthcare Group Expands Leadership Team to Accelerate Company Growth
NASHVILLE, TN — PhyMed Healthcare Group, a physician-led and owned leader of anesthesia and pain management services, has added two new members to its leadership team in realization of recent and expected growth of the company. Stephen Lorenz is executive vice president, focused on operations and strategic development. Stephen Mason is vice president of operations, focused on leading operations in multiple markets throughout the U.S.
Lorenz has over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience with hospitals and multi-hospital systems in the assessment of practice cost, performance, organization and revenue cycle management. He also has extensive experience leading and creating models for new business development in markets across the U.S. Previously, Lorenz had been executive vice president at HNI Healthcare, Inc. in Austin, Tex., and president and CEO of Hospital Resources Management in Dallas.
Mason has been involved in anesthesia and multi-specialty practice management for more than 25 years, leading the growth and mergers of several large practices. His experience includes revenue cycle management, payer auditing, healthcare data analytics, hospital and practice administration, healthcare consulting, physician contracting and hospital professional services contracting. Most recently, he was senior vice president for the audit division at Managed Care Advisory Group in Toledo, Ohio.
